CAVALIADA Sopot 2025 - the equestrian sporting spectacle starts tomorrow at ERGO Arena

CAVALIADA is the largest series of equestrian competitions in Poland, authorised by the International Equestrian Federation. For four days, ERGO Arena will host classes in show jumping, driving, dressage and eventing. The most important show jumping competitions are those counting for the world ranking and CAVALIADA Tour - Friday's Big Tour and Sunday's PKO Bank Polski Grand Prix. There will also be special classes, favoured by the public, such as Speed & Music or the Six Bars, and the extensive programme will be complemented by spectacular shows. Participants will also be treated to a fair of equestrian equipment and accessories.

‘We are entering this new year with the Sopot edition of CAVALIADA, which has clearly taken hold in the calendars of equestrian enthusiasts, but also of people who have less to do with the sport. Having analysed ticket sales, we know that this edition will be a record-breaking one. I am glad that CAVALIADA contributes to even more people wanting to try their hand at this sport. I will do my best to ensure that equestrian events develop here in the EEGO Arena, but also, of course, at the neighbouring Hippodrome, which is a historic but at the same time modern venue and offers amazing opportunities. CAVALIADA is very much part of the campaign we are now running to promote and invite people to Sopot in this autumn-winter period. ‘The lineup for this year’s competition is the best it has been in these four years, in terms of world equestrian stars. The number one star will be Sweden’s Douglas Lindelöw, the European team Vice-Champion, who in 2015 won his first five-star Grand Prix, and the first 5* Grand Prix held in Poland, at the Sopot Hippodrome. We will also see Jarosław Skrzyczyński, who is returning after injury, and he has already won three of the six competitions counting in the world ranking here, including two Grand Prix classes. (...) CAVALIADA, as we all know, has the advantage over many other equestrian events that it also gathers riders from other equestrian disciplines on the start line, and here, too, there will be no shortage of stars and athletes from the top of the Apart Dressage Tour ranking, the CAVALIADA Eventing Tour and the Bavaria Motors Driving Tour.’ - said CAVALIADA Tour sports director Szymon Tarant.
