Déjà vu for Petrovas, Vanagaite-Samuile victorious in Apart Dressage Tour

Lithuania’s Andrius Petrovas repeated his victory from Łódź in the Medium Tour Final today at Perlage CAVALIADA Tour in Kraków. Justina Vanagaite-Samuile from Lithuania triumphed in the Apart Dressage Tour series. In the Respect Energy Open Tour, the best riders were Ignacy Luboński (Bronze category), Hanna Kosińska (Silver), and Aleksandra Lewicka (Gold).

The Medium Tour Final competition, counting toward the world ranking and held for the prize of BOŚ Bank, under the patronage of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, brought 47 pairs to the start. It featured an interesting format – with a winning round, where the best twelve qualify for the second and decisive round. Today, time was crucial, as we witnessed as many as 23 clear rounds, so riders had to take risks already in the first course. In the second round, Lithuania’s Andrius Petrovas repeated his victory from a month ago at the Perlage CAVALIADA Tour in Łódź, riding Rowin van de Brouwershoeve.

“My horse is naturally very fast, but already in the first round it was clear that victory would not be easy. In the winning round I went last, so I had a full overview of the situation, and that helped me. I didn’t risk tight turns; I hoped a strong gallop would be enough to win – and it was,” said Petrovas.

Second place went to Czech rider Sara Vingralkova with Constantin 110, and third to Germany’s Marvin Jüngel riding Helene 50. The next three places belonged to Polish riders: Grzegorz Nowak riding Kaskada, Jarosław Skrzyczyński with Solaris Blue, and Michał Ziębicki with O’Lord DB.

In the grand finale of the Apart Dressage Tour – the Freestyle to Music competition for the prize of Apart – eight pairs competed. Germany’s Lena Hassmann riding the 12-year-old Doc-Holliday 3 was the winner, second place went to Poland’s Ilona Janas with Heracles, and third to Denmark’s Helene Stenshoj Vitkauskas on Flintegardens Papillon.

After the stages in Warsaw, Poznań, Łódź, and the Kraków final, the overall winner of the Apart Dressage Tour series was the Paris Olympian Justina Vanagaite-Samuile from Lithuania with 53 points, having won six of the eight competitions in the series. Following successful final performances, Lena Hassmann finished in second with 52 points, and Ilona Janas completed the Top 3 with 46 points.

In the final Respect Energy competition in the Bronze category, for the prize of Respect Energy and under the patronage of TVP Sport, the winner was Maja Głoskowska riding Atos. Right behind her was Ignacy Luboński with Mariposa, and Natalia Bodziarczyk with Passier P finished third.

In the overall standings of the entire Tour, Ignacy Luboński stood on the top step of the podium with 97 points. Maja Głoskowska placed second (89 points), and Julia Banasik – third (73).

The Silver category final, for the Respect Energy prize under the patronage of the Małopolska Equestrian Association, ended with a victory for Hanna Kosińska on Lot. Second place went to Wiktoria Legierska on Krekwakwou C, and third to Hungary’s Lili Puskás on Charmer.

The winner of this category for the season was today’s victor, Hanna Kosińska, who collected 90 points. With 86 points, Szymon Cieślak finished second, and Julia Tybulczuk stood on the lowest step of the podium with 85 points.

Aleksandra Lewicka on Narthago VDL won the final competition of the Gold category, for the prize of Respect Energy and under the patronage of the Małopolska Equestrian Association. Hubert Prasek on Bueno L placed second, and Izabela Bandura on the gelding Goos was third.

Aleksandra Lewicka was also the best in the final classification of this category with 105 points. With 95 points, Hubert Prasek finished second, and Maria Glonek was third, having collected 94 points after the stages in Warsaw, Poznań, Łódź, and Kraków.

Today, the youngest riders of the Perlage CAVALIADA Future series also began their competitions. In the semi-final of the Mini category, Helena Lubońska on the pony S-Piorun was the best, followed closely by Nell Klupś with Pasjonata Parys, with Otylia Reimann on Pasjonata Amigo completing the Top 3. The Midi category competition was won by Konstancja Dziedzińska on Vulcano. Second place went to Bianka Pellowska riding Corbinian, and third to Sara Wnuczko with Falco.

Ahead of tomorrow’s final, Nell Klupś leads the Mini category with 45 points. Kacper Seroczyński is 11 points behind her, and Helena Lubońska is third with 33 points. In the Midi category standings, Bianka Pellowska is the leader with 45 points. Second place belongs to Konstancja Dziedzińska with 43 points, and third to Sara Wnuczko with 32 points.
