A clash between experience and youth

The Lublin Grand Prix for the PKO Bank Polski award was won by one of the favourites, yet there were also some nice surprises today. The course of the main competition in Lublin turned out to be so difficult that only 4 out of 39 starting couples managed to complete it flawlessly. What made the fans happy was the fact that only Polish athletes made it to the game. Krzysztof Ludwiczak on Nordwind claimed victory. This experienced couple was the only one in the game to complete a flawless ride once more.

“I hope that I will be able to do my best and challenge Jarosław Skrzyczyński. Although he rode his worse horse today, he will certainly prepare well for the next competitions,” said Krzysztof Ludwiczak, who became the leader in the CAVALIADA Tour ranking after today’s victory.

The second place went to Filip Lewicki on Corrado X. This young athlete was close to repeating his father’s success (Marek Lewicki won CAVALIADA in Lublin in 2013). “I’m very happy with this success. I’ve tried my skills many times in competitions included in the world ranking, but it’s the first time I’ve finished so high, so I’m very happy,” said the young athlete.

The third place belonged to Grzegorz Nowak on Always Forever, who has made huge progress recently. Two years ago he won his first national Grand Prix. Today marked the first time he had finished so high in a CSI Grand Prix. Another athlete who can speak of great success is the junior rider Dalia Lehmann, who took fourth place on Casanova 468.

The CAVALIADA Future competition for the PKO Bank Polski award, under the patronage of Torpol, saw the victory of Martyna Ufnal on the pony Ramiro. Thanks to this victory the female athlete of KJ Hippica Polonia Słupno remains the leader of the CAVALIADA Future ranking in the mini category. The second place was taken by Natalia Głowacz on Szaman, whereas the third place went to Michalina Dańczak on Maidi.

In the midi category, the first place went to Maria Michalska on Pasjonata Amigo. She was followed by Zofia Ćwik on the pony Teti, who managed to maintain the lead in the CAVALIADA Future ranking in this category. The third place went to Michał Dubiniak on Fiesta Ewita.

The morning CAVALIADA Dressage Cup ended with the victory of Ilona Janas, a representative of KJ Lider Radzionków, on Arriba Z. She was followed by Dominika Kraśko Białek on Ares. The third place in the international freestyle music show at the Intermediate I level was taken by Sandra Sysojeva from Lithuania, who remains the leader of the ranking after today’s competition.
