A great equestrian show in Kraków

27 February 2019

Pixel-perfect jumps, exciting carriage driving, spectacular eventing contest or magical shows for the public – these are just some of the attractions of the CAVALIADA Tour international equestrian competition, which will take place from 28 February to 3 March at the TAURON Arena Kraków. This is the first time that the CAVALIADA Tour series, apart from the competitions in Poznań, Lublin and Warsaw, has been extended by a new location – Kraków. This is a unique event as the modern Tauron Arena Kraków will host an equestrian event for the first time in history.

The CAVALIADA Tour is one of the most important equestrian events in this part of the world. Year after year the event’s quality and significance are growing, as is the number of registered riders and horses. From Thursday to Sunday, fans will be able to see the athletes in four equestrian competitions: show jumping, eventing, dressage and driving. There will be plenty of spectacular competitions that the audience loves, such as Puissance on Thursday, Venus vs. Mars on Friday (women vs. men), Speed&Music on Saturday, Lotto Eventing Tour, as well as the Driving Polish Indoor Cup. “Thousands of fans in the stands cheering their favorite athletes, lights, atmosphere, music – all those make CAVALIADA unique. The people, riders and horses are getting better and better from one edition to another,” says Bartłomiej Kwiatek, leader of the Driving Cup ranking and World Champion in one-in-hand driving.

In addition, CAVALIADA in Kraków is another opportunity for show jumping athletes to compete in an exceptional arena and to gain valuable points for the world ranking. Krzysztof Ludwiczak, leader of the CAVALIADA Tour ranking and winner of the CAVALIADA Lublin Grand Prix, will certainly fight for the victory in the PKO Grand Prix of Kraków. “I would again like to take the highest step of the podium in Kraków. Winning the CAVALIADA Tour series is my main goal for the indoor season. That is why, to face my rivals once more, we practice together with Nordwind, my primary horse for the CAVALIADA games,” emphasizes Krzysztof Ludwiczak.
