CAVALIADA Poznan 2019 – schedule

11 October 2019

This is the second time that the Cavaliada’s show jumping contests will have been held as a four-star event. The less experienced competitors will be able to compete in CSI1* and CSIYH competitions. The International Federation for Equestrian Sports has approved the competition schedule and launched a registration panel, which will be open until the 6th of November.

Four stars does not only mean a high prize pool (PLN 820,000, a total of PLN 900,000 for the whole event), but also the possibility for the competitors to gain more points for the world ranking. The winner of Sunday’s Grand Prix (with a pool of PLN 370,000, height 150 – 160) will score 100 points for the LR. As it was in the previous years, this competition will be included in the Central European League of the World Cup and the Cavaliada Tour. Friday will also see a big round competition as part of the CT and LR (150 – pool of PLN 120,000). The middle round (140 – 145) will also be very attractive. On Saturday it will end with two competitions of the Longines Rankings (pools of PLN 100,000 each) – a classic one with a jump-off and the Speed and Music, which is the favorite one for the audience. The program will be complemented by the Puissance contest, scheduled for Friday evening this time. The CSI4*-W will also include small round competitions (135).

Additionally, the organizer would like to invite you to join the CSI Young Horses (6 and 7 years old) and CSI1* including competitions in the range from 120 to 135 cm. Most of them will take place in Arena B. Note that couples competing in the one-star events will be able to show up in the main arena twice. First in the spotlights, during the phenomenal Venus vs. Mars competition on Thursday evening (qualifiers will take place on Thursday in competitions of 120 and 130). The other time on Saturday in the one-star final competition (135, two-phases).
