Two new items in the programme, PLN 368,000 in the prize pool, 14 competitions, including two in the world ranking − this is the short summary of the sports programme of the international show jumping competition CAVALIADA Warsaw 2022. The World Equestrian Federation approved the proposals and opened the CSI-W 2* and 1*/Am entry panel.

The competition, which will take place on 10-13 November at Warsaw’s Torwar, will open a new series of CAVALIADA Tour 2022/23. The core of the show jumping program consists of four rounds.

A novelty in the programme is raising the rank of Thursday's Big Round competition (140 cm). The pool will amount to as much as PLN 36,000. In combination with simple rules (regular competition for points and time), they will make the first qualification for the Grand Prix attractive for competitors and interesting for the audience. Then in the Big Round, both the Friday 145 cm competition and the Sunday Grand Prix (up to 150 cm) have a pool of PLN 104,000 and count towards the International Equestrian Federation and CAVALIADA Tour ranking. Both are included in group D, which means that winners can get 50 points for the world ranking.

Additionally, the main competition of the event will be the next stage of the Central European League of the World Cup season 2022/2023. The final of this prestigious competition will be held again during CAVALIADA in Krakow.

The Middle Round consists of two qualifying competitions − 130 cm and 135 cm. On Saturday, couples can choose between two different competitions − the Middle Round finals (a two-phase 140 cm competition with a prize pool of PLN 24,000) or the spectacular Speed & Music (a 135 cm speed competition with a prize pool of PLN 20,000).

The CSI2*-W programme could not do without the Power of Jump competition. Here, the organiser decided to significantly increase the value of the prizes and now for the first place it amounts to PLN 8,000 (PLN 24,000 in the pool).

The Small Round (125 cm) will be held as part of CSI1*, which will allow Polish competitors to start on horses that do not yet have FEI passports.

For the first time in Warsaw, the CSI Amateur – Owner's competition will be held (110-115 cm). Competitors in this category will have the opportunity to perform in the Torwar arena and will also be guests of the VIP zone.  In order to take part in this type of competition, you must be the owner of the reported horse (it may also be a member of the immediate family) and sign a declaration in the national federation that you do not earn money from equestrian sport.

Applications for Polish competitors take place via e-mail zgloszenia@pzj.pl
