The Big Tour competition, counting for the world ranking, the first stage of Perlage CAVALIADA Tour, ended with victory for Hungary’s Péter Szuhai. The next podium places were taken by home athletes – Marek Lewicki and Krzysztof Ludwiczak.

Friday’s Big Tour competition, for the prize of the Marshal of Mazovia Voivodeship, counted for both the Longines Ranking and the Perlage CAVALIADA Tour ranking. The class saw 47 horse-and-rider combinations from 19 countries on the staring list. With fences at the height 145 cm, 15 athletes managed to go clear over the first course. The final jump-off was exceptionally tight, and in the end, the best of them all was Hungary’s Péter Szuhai with 11-year-old mare Corbluecenta, who thus became an early leader of Perlage CAVALIADA Tour 2025/2026 after the first stage.

Home heroes were very close to victory, as less than a second separated the top three. Second place went to Marek Lewicki with 9-year-old stallion Quadis II, and third place to Krzysztof Ludwiczak riding Vestari. Mściwoj Kiecoń riding Eyda L, with one rail down, finished 12th.

“I didn’t follow my rivals’ rounds, but whenever I enter the jump-off, I always go all in. I think I might have lost a few hundredths of a second at the second fenced, but I’m thrilled with my horse – he jumped phenomenally, just like yesterday. You can see that this horse is developing and there’s a lot of potential there” – said Marek Lewicki. – “When there are so many riders in the jump-off, you always know it will be fast and you have to fight for the top placings. I’m taking home the second, and I’m very happy!”

The Medium Tour competition, for the prize of SKAVSKA, ended with a win for Felix Hassmann from Germany with Conthargo PS. The entire podium belonged to German riders – Mathies Rüder with Carlesta came second, and Harm Lahde riding Kingston de l’Eau Z was third.
