Paszyński team wins, Szrejder jumps highest

Rafał Paszyński won stage V of CAVALIADA Driving Tour during Perlage CAVALIADA Tour in Łódź. Zbigniew Szrejder jumped highest in the Six Bars competition.

On Saturday evening, the CAVALIADA Driving Tour competitors made their debut in Atlas Arena Łódź. Eight teams competed in the fifth stage of the Tour – a competition for the prize of the National Support Centre for Agriculture. As always, the best four qualified for the second round, and ultimately the victory went to the married team of Rafał and Joanna Paszyńscy with their horses Ikar and Cynamon.

“This victory is a huge surprise for us. We believe that you always have to support each other, we try to do just that and today we manager to win. The audience in Łódź is wonderful and it's all thanks to them! Our horses performed at 200%. We try to take care of them as best we can and they repay us for it,” said Rafał and Joanna Paszyński.

Second place went to the current Polish champion Aleksander Fularczyk with his horses Neptun and Nuta, and third place went to the youngest competitor, Bartosz Klupś, driving Kros-GJ and Koczis.

One of the highlights of Saturday evening at Atlas Arena was the Six Bars competition for the prize of Respect Energy. Home rider Zbigniew Szrejder riding Rambo DV was the only rider to clear the last 185 cm vertical, repeating his success from last year’s Cavaliada in Sopot. Joint second place belonged to Poland’s Agnieszka Olszewska with Innocence and Latvia’s Kristaps Neretnieks riding Cinderella Cece.

The crowd-favorite Relay competition for the prize of Dolina Noteci, saw teams consisting of Perlage CAVALIADA Future riders with their ponies and one adult who completed the course driving a Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat from the A!W Forged “stable.” The winning team was that of Helena Lubońska with S-Piorun, Paulina Stawiarska with Maurik’s Liu.Jo, and a showjumper well-known to Cavaliada audiences – Angelos Touloupis from Greece. Second place went to Hanna Filkiewicz with Junior, Maja Głoskowska with Rosenbachs Tajo, and Perlage CAVALIADA Tour Director Jakub Patelka. Third was claimed by the team of Nell Klupś with Pasjonata Parys, Sara Wnuczko with Falco, and CAVALIADA Driving Tour competitor Aleksander Fularczyk.
