Jarosław Skrzyczyński riding the 8-year-old Komboy was the best in the Medium Tour Final, for the prize of LOTTO, under the patronage of Baborówko Equestrian Association.

It was an extremely exciting Medium Tour Final, counting for the world ranking. Full stands of spectators and a good, selective course, as well as many as 12 fences and the time allowed - they really dealt the cards today. In the end, 11 horse-and-rider combinations, who had at least a few difficult tasks to complete, advanced to the jump-off. In the end, the winner was Jarosław Skrzyczyński riding Komboy. It was a beautiful, slightly risky ride, but as in Skrzyczyński's case, under full control. It was also a fantastic result from the relatively new horse of our four-time Polish champion Jaroslaw Skrzyczyński. Komboy is an 8-year-old, and this year he already scored three second places and two wins in ranking classes. It was at CAVALIADA that he proved himself king of the Medium Tour Finals. Second place went to Erica Swartz Ryan riding Madonna – the same mare that she rode during her win in the 4* Grand Prix in Morocco earlier this year. Marine Scauflaire with Cuba Libre De Nevada Z was third. Other Poles did well, who, although they had knockdowns in the jump-off, showed promising rounds from their horses. We put our hopes in Hubert Polowczyk with M Blue's Boy Z, Mściwoj Kiecoń with Cicero and Andrzej Głoskowski riding Verdinale.

- The first key to success was to qualify for the class at all. Up until noon today I didn't know if I was going to ride, then another rider withdrew and I jumped in his place. I wasn't sure if I should go as I didn't have a qualification, but I did, the first round went well, then I had a little adventure as my horse lost a shoe before the jump-off, I didn't see any riders before me and I had to trust my intuition. The course was demanding, especially the time allowed, the play of colours on the fences, but I think Komboy passed the test and did great today. This horse has made huge progress over the last year, I didn't expect such a good performance from him," said Jarosław Skrzyczyński.
