The most prestigious competition of the event – the Perlage CAVALIADA Tour Grand Prix, for the prize of Perlage, under the patronage of the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, saw 41 horse-and-rider combinations from 19 countries at the starting list. The class counted for the world ranking, the Central European League of the World Cup, and of course, the Perlage CAVALIADA Tour ranking. The course of the competition proved to be extremely exciting, and the first round’s track was no piece of cake.

“The Grand Prix course had to be demanding today. It was not only a competition counting for Group C of the Longines Rankings and the Perlage CAVALIADA Tour ranking, but also part of FEI World Cup Central European League, which meant special requirements from the International Equestrian Federation. The fences were very high and very wide, but the course itself was described by riders as pleasant to ride, because most of the lines had quite open approaches for an indoor arena. Mistakes happened in the triple combination, especially at the entrance, and the final part of the course was also challenging — although it looked like it was set along three sides of the arena, the last three jumps, including the ultimate double combination, formed one continuous line on a curve, which required absolute focus until the very end. The time allowed also played its part — the high pace that riders had to maintain often led to knockdowns,” said Szymon Tarant, Sports Director of Perlage CAVALIADA Tour.

Ultimately, four pairs managed to complete this challenging course clear, including one from the home nation. In the jump-off, victory ultimately went to 21-year-old Czech Republic’s Natalie Kovarova on Chloe, who was the only one to score a „double clear”. This marked the greatest success so far in the young rider’s career.

“I feel amazing; my mare jumped brilliantly. This is our first win in a 3*-W Grand Prix, and I’m very happy. Chloe is a big horse with a lot of scope — she has everything a good sport horse should have. She’s incredible,” said the winner. “I really like the CAVALIADA Tour events — they’re fantastic shows with a great atmosphere and wonderful public; everything is perfect. We will definitely celebrate this victory tonight with my family, grooms, and everyone who supports us.”

Second place went to Andrea Marchese of Italy with Menzo de Toxandria, who finished with 4 penalty points. The Polish champion, Maksymilian Wechta, starting as last to go in the jump-off riding Mystique, had to take a risk to match the Czech’s performance, but unfortunately, that resulted in a refusal at one of the fences — resulting in third place.

Other Polish riders came close to reaching the jump-off, completing the course without knockdowns but just slightly over the time allowed. With one time fault, Krzysztof Ludwiczak riding Vestari took fifth place, and Mściwoj Kiecoń with Eyda L finished sixth. The fastest round among those with 4 penalties belonged to Marek Lewicki on Quaid Casio, who placed seventh.

After the Warsaw leg, the leader of Perlage CAVALIADA Tour ranking is Péter Szuhai from Hungary with 29 points. Right behind him, tied at 27 points, sit Krzysztof Ludwiczak and Marek Lewicki.

In the Mini category of the Perlage CAVALIADA Future competition, for the prize of Perlage, the youngest athletes performed exceptionally well — all 8 pairs qualified for the jump-off. The winner was Nell Klupś with Pasjonata Parys, second went to Otylia with Pasjonata Amigo, and third to Hanna Filkiewicz riding Junior.

In the Midi category, 5 out of 8 qualified for the decisive jump-off, and victory went to Bianka Pellowska with Corbinian. Just behind her was Sara Wnuczko riding Dandy, with Zuzanna Sasin with Juultje in third.

The Last Chance competition, for the prize of TVP Sport, ended with a win for Fabienne Graefe from Germany with Cavallo PS Z. Second place went to Aliz Alasztics from Hungary riding Message Me PSZ, and third to Leonie Peeters from Belgium with Belanda.

The Perlage CAVALIADA Tour series now moves to Poznań, where the next stage of this spectacular equestrian series will take place in the halls of Poznań International Fair on December 4–7, 2025. Tickets are available at ToBilet.pl.
